Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week 2019

Did you know that according to the national #RealCollege Survey:

  • 46% of SRJC respondents were food insecure in the prior 30 days
  • 63% of SRJC respondents were housing insecure in the previous year
  • 23% of SRJC respondents were homeless in the previous year
  • 72% of students at Santa Rosa Junior College experienced at least one of these forms of basic needs insecurity in the past year.

At SRJC, we’re all in this together! Please spread the word and plan to join us this week as we raise awareness and host a variety events aimed at ending hunger and homelessness on our campus.

Wild Wednesday goes culinary this Wednesday on the SRJC Bertolini Quad. Free food, farmer's market, pop up pantry, and good vibes. Plus, Creative SRJC will be hosting a gratitude collage workshop in the Student Activities Center.
